Carlos Reberto Rabitech Review

By: Carlos Reberto

hey wassup man longtime no see what you been up to ??

we have been doing some sweet pool tests on guns latly and the results are very intresting ...

i now have a arsenal of a 1)120cm rabitech stealth
                                   2)110cm omer cayman hf
                                   3)115cm beauchat marlin

we also tryed other guns like 140cm doubleband APEX and a 3 band 120cm riffe and 100cm omer t20 mimitec...
**
results were like this the 110cm CAYMAN HF "single 20 band"is very light and is the most manouverable , and is great for taking fast aimed shots because all you do is put the metal ring on the muzzle on the fish and fire and the fish is as good as yours its accuracy is fantastic its downside is it has a very light shaft which can make for poor penetration on larger fish and it makes an annoying metalic shot when fired and its plastic reel is a joke ... the construction is not that great.
**
the 115cm BEAUCHAT marlin "double 16 bands "is a beautiful carbon gun its pantented semi closed muzzle is really sweet i rigged mine up with a heavy RIFFE sharkfin shaft because the beauchat one sucked when pool testing it i was amazed that i could aim at a spot the size of the diameter of the shaft and actually hit it it was like shooting with a lazer i gave the gun to my friend who is a complete OMER fanatic but when he fired the beauchat and stuck his head out of the water all he could say was WOW , its fantastic gun to dive with and its heavy RIFFE shaft gives it good penetration on bigger fish ,  its downside is it was a slight oval shape which decreases horizontal movement very slightly and its reel has a slowdown feature thats meant to put drag on a fish when it pulls but it actually just locks up which has ended with lost fish and nearly a lost gun ..

the 120cm RABITECH STEALTH "single 20 band" this gun is rugged it's solidly built, the best of the group its accuracy is great. its shots land.  The muzzle keeps band streamline even when not loaded which i like, shaft is solid it gives good penetration and doesn't bend easily, the reel is simple and heavy duty but a lil on the big side, all in all when we arrive at a new dive site or a spot with a strong current and i got the 3 guns with me i always usually go for the RABITECH its the best gun for tough conditions ..

{{notes}} i use RABITECH bands on all my guns , the CAYMAN HF is good for hunting fast moving smaller fish like "mullet - trevallys" , the beauchat rigged with a good reel will be a little more competitive to the RABITECH , the 120cm RIFFE was very dissapointing in the pool it kept shooting high and to the right and regularly missed the target completly and for having a " 3 band setup" its penetration was beaten by the beauchat which was using only a single 20" band and the same exact sharkfin shaft plus the RIFFE had a huge kickback when fired ...

just to give ya something to read man i hope u enjoyed it  :)
