Our floatline bungies are hand made from 12mm surgical rubber and Quadruple-backed 590 lb Dynema, UV treated for longevity. Bungie rubbers come in the following sizes:
- Muzzle bungie (X301): Takes up slack in the spear line and acts as a shock absorber between spear and gun. It is especially useful when using dynema cord.
- Muzzle bungie Combo: Muzzle bungee as above with heavy duty Marlin swivel to prevent line twisting and snap clip attached.
- 1m floatline bungie (X302): Stretches to over 7meters and is an essential component when fighting fast running fish like Wahoo and Tuna. The bungee reduces the tension on the fish during strong fights which helps to prevent the spear tearing through the fish.
- 3m bluewater bungie (X303): Stretches to over 21m in length, this is an indispensable component of the bluewater hunters’ main float rig. This one item, alone could be the difference between you landing your dream fish or retrieving an empty spear!
